Washington Security and Defense Seminar (WSDS 2020)

The WSDS Seminar is designed to provide knowledge on the development of security and defense policies in the United States of America.

Strategy and Defense Policy (SDP 2020)

The principal objective of this course is to offer participants the theoretical foundations and analytical tools to help them develop and/or expand their ability to be active participants in the processes of security and defense strategy and policy formulation, decision-making, implementation, and control and oversight.

Caribbean Defense and Security Course Intensive (CDSCi 2020)

The principal objective of this course is to offer participants the theoretical foundations and analytical tools to help them develop and/or expand their ability to be active participants in the processes of security and defense strategy and policy formulation, decision-making, implementation, and control and oversight.

Cyber Policy Development Intensive (CYBERi 2020)

This year's iteration of the intensive Cyber Policy Development course is specially designed for English-speaking countries of the Caribbean and focuses on the understanding of cybersecurity, specifically in the area of critical infrastructures that, for geographical and developmental reasons, are of major importance to the sub-region, and the vulnerability they represent as elements that are vital to the survival of these countries.

Cyber Policy Development (CYBER 2020)

The course explores the increasing challenges to cyber security at the national, international and transnational levels. This is a comprehensive, non-technical course, for government and private sector cyber professionals. The course is focused on deepening the understanding of the participants of the global cyber environment from two perspectives, national state power and competitiveness. The course seeks to teach senior national leaders how to make informed decisions on cyber policy, strategy and planning within a national state power framework.

Defense Governance (DG 2020)

Current complex security challenges call for solid and well-governed institutions. Therefore, producing good governance in the defense and security institutions – a complex task in and of itself – must become a state priority.

Strategic Implications of Human Rights and Rule of Law (HR/ROL 2020)

Participants should be able to contribute to the general objectives of Human Rights and Rule of Law at both the personal and institutional level, acquiring and/or improving the following functional competencies:
